What is Au Pair program?

We offer you an opportunity to work as Au Pair in USA, England, Italy, Spain, and other European countries. 

 

During the program, you have a chance to work, travel and live with a host family while being responsible for the childcare. Au Pair is like a member of the family, where you have your own room and food is always on the table.

You will get weekly pocket money for your personal use!

The purpose of the program is not earning money, instead, it aims to give you a chance to discover the world, experience new culture and life, and mature and develop personally.

​

It also offers and excellent opportunity to improve your language skills or learn new languages in a way which is impossible in lessons at school.

​

It is a valuable adventure, you will definitely remember rest of your life! 

United Kingdom

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Light household responsibilities: making beds, washing up, dusting, hovering, ironing, keeping the house tidy, preparing meals, cleaning the bathroom etc. 

  • Caring for the children: taking and collecting kids from school, looking after them at home, preparing meals, taking kids to walks and playing with them etc.

 

*Au Pair responsibilities will vary depending on a family and their personal needs.

 

 

Requirements: 

 

  • Age 17-30

  • Good English skills- verbal and written

  • Single with no children

  • Does not smoke

  • Drivin licence

  • Previous experience

Documents:

 

  • Copy of a passport

  • Copy of a driving licence

  • 2 childcare references

  • Character reference from non-relative

  • Physician’s Report

  • Photo album

  • Letter to host family

  • Criminal record certificate

 

The program consists of: 

 

  • Weekly allowance 80-85 pounds

  • Free accommodation and meals provided by family

  • Health insurance

  • 1 day off in a week

  • 4 weeks paid of vacation per 12 months

United States of America

Responibilities:

​

  • Light household duties: making beds, washing up, dusting, hovering, ironing, keeping the house tidy, preparing meals, cleaning the bathroom etc.

  • Taking care of children

  • Taking kids to and from school

  • Helping with homework

  • Keeping your room clean and tidy

 

Requirements:

​

  • General English knowledge

  • Willing to commit to stay at least 12 months in the U.S.

  • 6 months of childcare experience

  • Driving licence

  • Pass a psycho-metric test

  • Be in a good physical condition

  • Be able to provide 2 non-family childcare references

Program consists of:

 

  • Sponsorship of a legal 12- month J-1 Visa

  • Round- trip airfare to and from United States

  • Arrangement of one week’s training at the Au Pair Training School and Orientation in San Francisco, CA

  • Pocket money of 195,75$ per week

  • Up to 500$ tuition for enrolment in a post-secondary institution for 6 units of academic credit

  • Room and board in a private bedroom with pre-screened host family

  • Two weeks paid vacation & one full weekend off per month (for travel)

  • Health and accident insurance

  • Introductions to other Au Pairs in the area and monthly meetings with your local community counselor

  • Maximum work of 45 hours per week/ 10 hours per day

Italy

Responsibilities:

​

  • Taking care of the children

  • Light household duties

  • Taking a language course

 

Requirements:

​

  • Age 18-30

  • Beginner level in Italian

  • Single with no children

  • Previous childcare experience

  • Interested in Italian language and culture

  • Willing to be an Au Pair in Italy, live with a local family and take care of their children

Documents:

​

  • Au Pair application

  • Health insurance (if you stay more than 3 months)

  • Drivers licence

  • Copy of passport

  • Letter to a host- family

  • Description of yourself

  • Photo album

Program consists of:

​

  • Pocket money (250-300€ per month)

  • Maximum 30 hours work per week with maximum of 5 hours per day

  • 1 full day off in a week

  • 2 weeks paid vacation (only when you have been Au Pair at least 6 months)

Spain

Responsibilities:

​

  • Taking care of the children

  • Light household duties

  • Taking a language course

​

Requirements:

​

  • Age 17-30

  • Beginner level in Spanish

  • Single with no children

  • Health insurance

  • Previous experience with children

  • Non-smoker

  • Interested in Spanish language and culture

Documents:

​

  • Au Pair application

  • Health insurance (if you stay in Spain for more than 3 months)

  • Drivers licence

  • Copy of passport

  • Letter to a host- family

  • Description of yourself

  • Photo album

​

Program consists of: 

​

  • Weekly pocket money minimum of 70€

  • Free food and accommodation

  • 30 hours of work per week

  • 1 day off per week
